The Election Commission has commenced the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Meghalaya, with the final electoral roll scheduled to be published on October 7, 2026.
As per the schedule, Booth Level Officers (BLOs) will conduct house-to-house visits from June 30 to July 29, while the draft electoral roll will be published on August 5. The period for filing claims and objections will continue till September 4.
Citizens have been urged to keep the required documents ready, fill their enumeration forms through the Voters Portal, and inform BLOs about new voters, shifted electors, deceased voters, duplicate entries, or any corrections needed in the electoral roll.
