Voice of the People Party (VPP) president Ardent Miller Basaiawmoit has called on citizens to come together in large numbers for a public meeting scheduled to be held at Madan, emphasizing unity, collective strength, and pressing socio-political concerns.
In a message addressed to supporters and the general public, Basaiawmoit began by acknowledging the continued backing of the people and party workers.
“Once again, through this message, I would like to congratulate the people of the country… and all the strong support of the Voice of the People Party,” he said.
He urged residents from various communities and groups to actively participate in the upcoming gathering. “I would like to urge the residents… to attend this new meeting organized by the Voice of the People Party,” he stated, highlighting the importance of collective engagement.
Outlining the purpose of the meeting, the VPP leader said the event would serve as a platform to push forward key issues affecting society. “To hold a day of work ethics, a day of strength… to promote the rights of man… to demand from the government: issues affecting the youth… our fellow villagers living in the border areas, the poor, and other matters,” Basaiawmoit said.
Reiterating the need for solidarity, he made a strong appeal for unity among the people. “I urge the people to show the beauty, the unity… that today, and right now, we will stand together as a nation, to achieve the aspirations for the welfare of future generations,” he added.
The VPP president concluded by inviting citizens to attend the public meeting scheduled for 2 PM at Madan. “We will meet tomorrow… where we will be able to hold this public meeting of the Voice of the People Party. Thank you,” he said.
The meeting is expected to draw participation from party supporters, local residents, and community leaders, with discussions likely to focus on governance, youth welfare, and regional concerns.
