To recognize and celebrate academic excellence within the Gorkha community, various Gorkha organizations came together under the banner of Sanyukta Gorkha Manch.
Led by Bharatiya Gorkha Parisangh along with several community bodies, the initiative aimed to honour meritorious Gorkha students whose dedication and hard work have brought pride to the state.
The felicitation programme successfully honoured rank holders and students securing 90% and above in Classes 10 and 12 from MBOSE, ICSE, and CBSE boards. A total of 11 students were felicitated from various schools of Shillong.
The event not only celebrated their achievements but also served as an inspiration for younger students to strive for excellence in education.
