Security breach before the World Cup Passport details of Argentine players leaked

Alongside the names of the footballers on the team roster, their passport details were also mentioned. Journalists and 88,000 spectators managed to access this information. Lionel Messi’s Argentina will likely be deeply troubled by this.
The Donald Trump administration has taken a strict stance regarding World Cup security. However, amidst this, a gaping hole in security has come to light.
Before playing the main stage of the World Cup, Argentina played a warm-up match against Iceland. The team roster published prior to that match contained the passport details. That information was published without being blurred or redacted.
An audience of 88,000 was present at the Alabama stadium to enjoy the match of the world champion team. Before the match started, the player lineups for both teams were released. Unlike Iceland’s list, which only mentioned the names of the footballers, the Argentine list included passport details in addition to the players’ names. Questions have been raised regarding the security of the players following this incident.
