
Motorola has launched its first book-style foldable smartphone, the Motorola Razr Fold, for the first time in India. It is targeted to compete in the premium segment and comes with a high-capacity 6,000mAh silicon-carbon battery and a powerful triple camera setup. The rear setup is a 50MP Sony LYTIA 828 main camera with optical image stabilization, a 50MP periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, and a 50MP ultrawide lens with macro capabilities. The phone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 chip and features an 8.1-inch inner LTPO pOLED display and a 6.6-inch outer display. The Moto Edge 40 Neo runs on Android 16 with Motorola’s Hello UI and the company has promised a seven-year OS and security update. Razr Fold also comes with solid water and dust resistance ratings IP46, IP48, and IP49. The foldable comes in Pantone Blackened Blue and Pantone Lily White, with a special FIFA World Cup ’26 Edition available as well. It goes on sale May 20, 2026. In India, the starting price for the base 12GB/256GB model is Rs 1,49,999, while the 16GB/512GB variant costs Rs 1,59,999. The FIFA Edition is priced at Rs 1,69,999. Customers can avail instant bank discounts or exchange bonuses of up to Rs 10,000 to bring down the effective price.
