Indian Navy partners with TVS Motor Company for a 2,500 km expedition across North East India

The Indian Navy has partnered with TVS Motor Company for an ambitious 2,500 km expedition across North East India, aimed at inspiring the youth to consider careers in the armed forces. This 15-day journey will see 40 Navy personnel riding TVS Apache motorcycles through Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, and Assam, highlighting opportunities in the Indian Navy, including the Agnipath scheme.

Flagged off in Shillong by Vice Admiral Rajesh Pendharkar, the expedition features a contingent that includes four women, showcasing the Navy’s commitment to the Naari Shakti initiative. The riders will engage with students at various schools and colleges, fostering national pride and motivating young minds to pursue careers in the Navy.

As the riders navigate through Shillong, the local perspective highlights an eagerness among youth for adventure and career opportunities.
