Mission Education IV: 680 new school buildings to be constructed in State

Around 680 new school buildings will be constructed across Meghalaya under the phase-IV of Mission Education, Education Minister Lahkmen Rymbui said on Thursday. Under the scheme, each school is expected to receive approximately Rs 70 lakh, the minister said while inaugurating a new building of Darrang LP School in Amlarem block in West Jaintia Hills district. The school building was constructed under Mission Education Phase III. Meghalaya signs MoU with Jal Jeevan Mission, targets full rural water coverage
