KSU advises locals against facilitating entry of Bangladeshis

The Khasi Students’ Union (KSU), War Jaintia Circle, has issued a stern warning to local residents allegedly acting as middlemen — commonly referred to as dalals — to facilitate the illegal entry of Bangladeshi immigrants into Meghalaya. KSU War Jaintia Circle president, Platini Mukhim, voiced serious concern over reports that some locals are assisting Bangladeshis in crossing into the Khasi-Jaintia Hills.
