Vivo is preparing to expand its smartphone lineup in India with the revival of its S-series, with new leaks suggesting that the Vivo S2 will officially launch in the country on August 6, 2026. According to leaked marketing materials and industry tipsters, the device marks Vivo’s first S-series release in India since the Vivo S1 debuted back in 2019. The leaked renders showcase a sleek horizontal pill-shaped camera module and a premium 3D curved display, positioning the phone as a stylish mid-to-premium range offering. Under the hood, the Vivo S2 is expected to feature MediaTek’s Dimensity 7360 processor paired with up to 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of onboard storage. Powering the device is a massive 7,000mAh battery that reportedly supports 80W wired fast charging. Photography duties are tipped to be handled by a versatile triple rear camera setup featuring a 50-megapixel primary camera alongside a periscope telephoto lens. Expected to launch in Regal Bronze, Sapphire Blue, and Silk White color options, the Vivo S2 is rumored to carry a price tag between ₹45,000 and ₹50,000, with initial sales reportedly set to begin on August 11.
