Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah’s scheduled Meghalaya visit has been cancelled, according to an official communication from the Union Home Ministry.
His tour programme covering Telangana, Meghalaya, Mizoram and Delhi was cancelled through a notice referring to TP No. 96/UHM/2026 and subsequent revisions issued on October 1 and 2.
The notice does not specify the reason for the cancellation or whether the visit will be rescheduled.
