Trinity Business Park plans 3 million sqft commercial hub in Guwahati

Trinity Business Park has announced the launch of a large-scale integrated commercial development in North Guwahati, a project that is expected to emerge as one of the largest organised business ecosystems in Northeast India and strengthen the region’s commercial infrastructure.

Spread across 16 acres in Amingaon, the project will offer more than 3 million sq. ft. of built-up space, bringing together retail, office, hospitality and exhibition facilities within a single campus. The development is aimed at multinational corporations, technology firms and leading Indian enterprises seeking a strategic base to expand operations across the Northeast.

The project has already attracted significant interest from business communities, with members of the Assam Textile Merchants’ Association committing retail space, while discussions are underway with trade associations from several sectors. Trinity Business Park will feature 16-foot-high showrooms, 12-foot-high office spaces, 18 goods elevators, 25 passenger elevators and parking for over 3,000 vehicles. Amenities will include a 22,000 sq. ft. food court, grand atrium, premium outdoor dining areas, landscaped zones, performance deck and amphitheatre.

“Trinity Business Park is among the first large-scale integrated commercial developments of its kind in Northeast India,” said HemantAgarwal, Partner, Trinity Business Park. Ravi Agarwal, Partner, said the project aligns with the growing demand for future-ready commercial infrastructure beyond traditional metropolitan centres.

The project could create new opportunities for businesses in Shillong by improving access to organised retail, exhibition and corporate infrastructure within the region. As Meghalaya’s capital continues to witness growth in tourism, services and entrepreneurship, the availability of a large commercial destination in nearby Guwahati may help Shillong-based enterprises expand their market reach, strengthen supply chains and participate more actively in regional trade and networking events.

Construction is progressing steadily, with the first phases of the development expected to become operational from 2027 onwards. The project is designed to accommodate sectors ranging from consumer goods and building materials to healthcare, education, legal and financial services, while also hosting trade fairs, dealer meets and business networking events.
