The Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee (MPCC) is holding a bike rally across East Khasi Hills and Ri Bhoi districts on Thursday.
The rally is being flagged off from the Eastern Air Command in Upper Shillong and is passing through major routes before culminating at Bhoirymbong in Ri Bhoi district.
Party members, youth wing representatives and supporters are participating in the rally.
The programme is part of the Congress’s ongoing public outreach campaign to raise awareness about constitutional rights and democratic governance in the state.
The rally is covering key stretches connecting Shillong with Ri Bhoi, with participants travelling along the designated route towards Bhoirymbong.
