
The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) has officially declared the results of the Higher Secondary School Leaving Certificate (HSSLC) Examination 2026 on Monday with outstanding performances recorded across Arts, Commerce, and Science streams. In the Arts stream, Meghashree Roy of St. Mary’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong secured the top position with an impressive 457 marks. She was followed by Joziah Daman Laloo of St. Anthony’s Higher Secondary School with 452 marks, while Nakisakahuni M Pakyntein claimed the third position with 446 marks.
In the Commerce stream, Priya Ghosh from St. Edmund’s Higher Secondary School, Shillong topped the list with 458 marks. Ankita Das secured second position with 453 marks, while Rishika Debnath stood third with 452 marks. Meanwhile, in the Science stream, Dechro M Marak of Don Bosco College (Hr. Sec. Section), Tura emerged as the overall topper with a remarkable 472 marks. Amos Chinminlun secured second place with 470 marks, followed by Vishal Rai in third with 464 marks.
