Mahindra’s Truck and Bus Division (MTBD) has opened a new dealership in Lakhimpur, Assam, following a 46% CAGR volume growth over the past three years. The facility features four service bays, capable of servicing over 10 vehicles daily, and offers driver lodging, 24-hour breakdown assistance, and AdBlue, a diesel exhaust fluid that reduces emissions.
Dr. Venkat Srinivas, Business Head of MTBD, highlighted the division’s position as the No. 3 player in the Indian commercial vehicle market, citing the introduction of new dealerships and advanced models like BLAZO X and FURIO. These vehicles come with a Mileage Guarantee, promising unmatched value for transporters.
MTBD’s commitment to customer service is further reinforced by service guarantees, including a 48-hour breakdown response time and a 36-hour vehicle turnaround at workshops. Mr. Sateesh Machiraju emphasized the use of advanced telematics solutions to enhance operational efficiency, ensuring that customer satisfaction remains a priority.
