Kris Srikkanth doesn’t agree with Gautam Gambhir’s decision for ODI World Cup 2027

India after winning T20 World Cup, 2024 now questions are on if Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli will be seen playing ODI World Cup 2027? Well, both the Indian cricketers have already announced their retirement from T20I. Earlier, Gautam Gambhir being new head coach of team India, during media interaction has kept his doors open for both the players, said if they are fit enough. However former India opener Kris Srikkanth stated that, "He [Rohit] is a good player, but his age is 37 presently, and the next ODI World Cup is three more years ahead. He will be 40 years old then. You can't play World Cup at 40s. Yeah, Virat Kohli could play in the 2027 World Cup, in my opinion, for sure. But for Rohit, Mr. Gambhir, you went overboard; he will faint in South Africa."
