Affordable Health CoverStar Health Marks 20 Years with ‘Value Plus’ Policy; Targets Young Adults, Families in Non-Metro Cities

Star Health and Allied Insurance Company Limited has launched ‘Value Plus’, an affordable health insurance policy aimed at young adults and families in Tier-2, Tier-3, and Tier-4 cities.
The launch coincides with Star Health’s completion of 20 years since establishment. To mark the milestone, Value Plus offers premiums nearly 20% lower than comparable plans.
The policy provides sum insured options from ₹7.5 lakh to ₹25 lakh. It is designed for adults aged 18 years and above, and dependent children from 91 days to 25 years.
Value Plus focuses on planned and emergency care through a curated network of quality hospitals in non-metro cities. In Guwahati, Star Health services are available across 39 network hospitals, of which 29 are designated as favorable value network hospitals under Value Plus.
The company said the product balances enhanced protection with premium efficiency, targeting affordability for customers in cities like Guwahati where healthcare costs are rising.
