Meghalaya’s Ri-Bhoi district has introduced new traffic regulations to boost road safety

A new set of traffic laws has been formally released by the Ri-Bhoi district administration of Meghalaya in an effort to increase road safety and expedite vehicle movement within its borders. The notification, which was issued in accordance with the Motor Vehicles Act of 1988 and the Meghalaya Police Act of 2010, has detailed guidelines on topics such as speed limits, proper driving technique, overtaking procedures, and parking limitations.
