The first grievance redressal bench was held in Haflong
The NCPCR hosted its grievance redressal bench in Haflong in collaboration with the ASCPCR and the district administration of Dima Hasao. This event was held on Government Boys' Higher Secondary School's ground with the goal of addressing breaches of children's rights and advancing welfare programs. Rilanjana Talukdar and Dr. Shyamal Prasad Saikia, the IPS chairperson of ASCPCR, served as the bench's chairs. The principal visitor was Donphainon Thaosen, executive member of the North Cachar Hills Autonomous Council. Thaosen commended the effort and urged departments to enhance awareness of important government programs. He emphasized how crucial it is to work together as a district to protect children's rights.
