“Ha Lyngkha Bneng,” a Meghalaya film, does quite well at the Moscow International Film Festival
At the prestigious Moscow International Film Festival, Pradip Kurbah's Khasi-language film won the NETPAC Award for Best Asian Film and won Best Film and Best Director, among other major competition awards. After the announcement, the filmmaker sent a poignant message on social media expressing his surprise at the acknowledgment. The movie, which is translated as "Those From The Clouds" in English, is a noteworthy accomplishment for Northeast Indian filmmaking internationally. Kurbah dedicated the honors to Meghalaya and his production team. "I'm not the only one with this award.
