Bir Raghab Moran is honored in Assam on his commemorative day
Today and tomorrow, the State Government of Assam, in partnership with the Assam Moran Sabha, is hosting a number of events to commemorate Bir Raghab Moran Diwas. The festivities pay tribute to the heritage of Bir Raghab Moran, who is particularly dear to the Assamese people and the Moran community as a symbol of bravery, patriotism, and resistance.
In addition to appreciating the great liberation fighter's sacrifices to the cause of justice and independence, Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma offered his sincere condolences. "Bir Raghab Moran's legacy is a source of immense pride not only for the Moran community but for all Assamese people," remarked the chief minister. He also prayed for a successful and meaningful celebration of the festivities commemorating this important day.
