If attendance estimates are met, it will set a new record for concert footfall in the region.

The festival is being organised and produced by Aeroeast, which has been working to bring large live entertainment events to Northeast India. The Silchar concert has also been announced as an opening event ahead of a larger Kite Festival planned to be held in Sonai, near Silchar, in December 2026.The event is powered by Aeroeast Production Studio, which was recently associated with the production of an international concert by American rapper Post Malone for BookMyShow Live. Organisers said their aim is to build a strong concert culture in the Northeast and create opportunities for artists, audiences and local businesses.
