
Samsung India has unveiled the winners of its ‘Solve for Tomorrow 2024’ competition, highlighting groundbreaking technological innovations developed by young minds across the country. Team Eco Tech Innovator from Golaghat, Assam, was crowned the Community Champion in the School Track for their ingenious solution aimed at ensuring equitable access to potable water, earning a seed grant of INR 25 lakh. Meanwhile, Team METAL from Udupi, Karnataka, received the Environment Champion award in the Youth Track for their innovative technology designed to remove arsenic from groundwater, securing a grant of INR 50 lakh for incubation at IIT-Delhi.
The event celebrated the creativity and problem-solving skills of the ten finalist teams, each of which received INR 1 lakh and certificates for their remarkable proposals. Additionally, special awards, including the Goodwill Award and Social Media Champion Award, were presented to recognize outstanding contributions in community engagement and outreach.
