PM Modi invites everyone to support the “Swachhata Hi Seva” initiative

Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged all Indians to get involved in the “Swachhata Hi Seva” campaign, calling it an inspiring project that embodies the spirit of national pride and shared responsibility. “This cleanliness initiative is very encouraging,” the Prime Minister said in a message posted on X. I implore more individuals to participate in this campaign and help it succeed. On the same day that the Prime Minister called for widespread support for the cleanliness effort, a number of Delhi’s BJP leaders took to the streets with brooms to sweep the city’s public areas.

As part of the Delhi government’s Seva Pakhwada, a 15-day campaign to honor the PM’s birthday on September 17 by implementing social service and public welfare initiatives until October 2, the Delhi BJP leaders started cleanliness efforts around flyovers at 71 locations. Along with BJP members, personnel of the local Public Works Department, and employees of the Municipal Corporation, Delhi BJP President Virendra Sachdeva ceremoniously began a cleanliness campaign at Rose Garden, the bus stop beneath the ITO overpass, and the surrounding neighborhoods. Northeast District BJP President U.K. Chaudhary and Municipal Councillor Ramkishore Sharma also participated in the campaign.

Along with local employees of the Public Works Department and the Municipal Corporation, Delhi BJP media chief Praveen Shankar Kapoor, South Delhi district president Maya Bisht, Municipal Councillor Arun Bhati, and other BJP workers symbolically launched the cleanliness drive at a different location: the bus stop beneath the Safdarjung-Sarojini Nagar flyover and its environs. The general secretary of the Delhi BJP organization, BJP members, and staff from the local Public Works Department and Municipal Corporation ceremoniously began a cleanliness campaign in Rajghat, the Rajghat bus stop, and the surrounding regions. State Spokesperson Yasir Jilani and Municipal Councillor Sandeep Kapoor joined Pawan Rana.
