Two upcoming flagship smartphones — the OnePlus 15 5G and Realme GT 8 Pro 5G — are set to debut in China this month before launching globally. As the official unveilings approach, both companies have started teasing key specifications, while tipsters continue to leak exciting details. The most recent leaks highlight the camera specs, hinting at a close competition between the two devices.
OnePlus 15 5G Camera Details
Popular Chinese tipster Digital Chat Station (DCS) claims that the OnePlus 15 5G will feature a triple rear camera setup, headlined by a 1/1.5-inch main sensor — either the Sony Lytia LYT-700 or Sony IMX906. Additionally, it could sport a 1/2.76-inch Samsung JN5 sensor for its periscope telephoto lens, and a 50MP ultrawide camera using the same Samsung JN5 sensor. Interestingly, this setup may be a downgrade from the OnePlus 13 in terms of sensor size.
Realme GT 8 Pro 5G Camera and Performance
The Realme GT 8 Pro is expected to house the same LYT-700 main sensor, paired with a 200MP periscope camera using the Samsung ISOCELL HP5 sensor. Although the GT 8 Pro is more performance-focused, Realme has confirmed it will run on the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, promising top-tier gaming and multitasking. Official specs will be confirmed at launch.
