According to MFA General Secretary Sunesh Syiem, the Meghalaya Football Association’s 2025 inter-district transfer for football players would start on April 28, 2025. From April 28 to May 10 from 3 to 5 p.m., every day except Sunday, transfer forms in triplicate will be available from the MFA office at the JN Stadium, Polo, Shillong, for a fee of Rs 100 each set.
The club is to keep the yellow forms, the district association is to keep the white forms, and the MFA office is to get the pink forms. Forms that do not include the player’s photos will not be approved. Players must physically sign the register at the MFA office and pay a Rs 1,000 transfer fee in order to finalize the transfer. This can be completed from 3 to 5 p.m. on May 12 through May 17. The transfer is final once it is signed, and all associated district associations will get a definitive list of player transfers from the MFA.
