Responding proactively to concerns raised by the North-Eastern Hill University Students’ Union (NEHUSU), the NEHU administration has officially implemented a series of new road safety regulations within the campus, marking a significant step toward ensuring safer mobility for its growing community.
The measures include strictly enforced speed limits, along with mandatory helmet use for all two-wheeler riders and cyclists. With rising movement across the university grounds, officials noted that disciplined road behaviour has become essential to prevent mishaps and safeguard students, staff, and visitors.
