On the occasion of his 41st birthday today, February 24, 2026, “Natural Star” Nani thrilled fans by officially announcing the title of his highly anticipated 34th film: Bloody Romeo. Directed by Sujeeth, fresh off the massive success of They Call Him OG, the film was unveiled through a slick, high-octane animated teaser that introduces a quirky and lethal concept. Nani is set to portray a “Number 1 Chef” who secretly moonlights as a “Number 1 Gangster,” a role that promises a unique blend of sharp wit, stylish action, and dark humor. The animated promo, featuring a voice-over by comedian Vennela Kishore and a banger soundtrack titled “No. 1 Gangsta,” shows Nani’s character calmly preparing a meal in a “Gangster’s Den” before using a hand grenade to turn a pressure cooker into a deadly weapon.
Produced by Venkat Boyanapalli under the Niharika Entertainment banner, Bloody Romeo is being mounted as a pan-Indian project with a massive budget. The title logo itself—a clever fusion of guns and roses—perfectly captures the contrast between the “Bloody” action and the “Romeo” charm Nani is expected to bring to the screen. Shooting for the film is slated to begin this summer, once Nani wraps up his current commitments. The actor is currently busy with The Paradise, a rugged period drama directed by Srikanth Odela, which is scheduled for an August 21, 2026, release. With Bloody Romeo aiming for a grand Christmas 2026 theatrical launch, Nani is positioning himself for a dominant year at the box office, potentially clashing with other major stars during the festive window.
