Medanta Reports 12.6% Revenue Growth in FY2025, Announces Expansion Plans

Global Health Limited (Medanta) has announced its financial results for FY2025, reporting a 12.6% year-on-year growth in consolidated total income to INR 37,714 million. The healthcare provider’s growth was primarily driven by increased patient volumes across its facilities in North and East India.

EBITDA grew by 9.4% to INR 9,562 million, with margins at 25.4%. Profit After Tax reached INR 4,813 million (12.8% margin), though this was impacted by a one-time expense of INR 499 million related to the merger of its Lucknow entity with Global Health Limited. Adjusted for this expense, PAT stood at INR 5,186 million, reflecting an 8.5% growth.

The company added 219 new beds across its facilities, representing a 7.8% increase in capacity. Patient numbers showed strong growth with in-patient count up 11.7% and out-patient visits rising 9.5%.

In a significant development, Medanta announced plans to add 1,000 beds over the next two years, including a new 550-bed facility in Noida expected to open in Q2 FY2026. The company has also announced greenfield projects in Mumbai, Pitampura (Delhi), and Guwahati.

“FY2025 was a landmark year as we celebrated 15 years of our flagship facility in Gurugram,” said Mr. Pankaj Sahni, Group CEO and Director. “We are deeply honoured that Medanta Gurugram has been ranked India’s Best Private Hospital by Newsweek for the sixth consecutive year.”

The board has recommended a final dividend of INR 0.50 per share.
