
Medanta Global Health Limited (NSE: Medanta, BSE: 543654), a leading multi-specialty tertiary care provider, has launched its sixth hospital, a 550-bed super-specialty facility in Noida, strengthening its presence in the Delhi/NCR healthcare market. Operational since September 2025 with 226 beds, 81 ICU beds, and five operating theatres, the hospital has onboarded 151 doctors and integrated advanced medical technologies, reflecting the growing demand for high-quality healthcare infrastructure.
For Q2 FY2026, Medanta reported consolidated total income of INR 11,189 million, up 14.8% year-on-year, with net profit rising 21.1% to INR 1,584 million. EBITDA excluding Noida increased 13.7% to INR 2,804 million. Mature hospitals generated revenue of INR 7,200 million, while developing hospitals excluding Noida grew 28.3%, with margins improving to 31.5%. International patient revenue jumped 48.5% to INR 762 million, and OPD pharmacy revenue rose 23.9% to INR 456 million, reflecting broad-based growth across its network.
Medanta is actively exploring expansion opportunities to meet rising demand for tertiary care. Strategic site evaluations and potential partnerships aim to improve access to specialized healthcare services, addressing limited local infrastructure and supporting the city’s evolving healthcare market. The quarter also included capacity expansions in Patna and Lucknow and the proposed 500–750 bed super-specialty hospital in Mumbai, underlining Medanta’s continued growth and leadership in India’s private healthcare sector.
