Among apps, Zomato’s District: Movies Events Dining was named the best app of the year. Toonsutra: Webtoon & Manga App was recognized as the best hidden gem, while Daily Planner: To Do List Task earned the title of best everyday essential. Google reported that 69% of Indian users first experienced AI through an Android app, a trend seen across multiple categories. For instance, invideo AI: AI Video Generator won Best App for Personal Growth for turning text prompts into videos. Apps focused on holistic well-being and multi-device functionality also excelled, with SleepisolBio winning best app for watches and Goodnotes recognized for large screens with AI-powered note-taking.
In gaming, Krafton’s CookieRun India: Running Game was the Best Game of 2025, Free Fire Max was Best Ongoing Game, Kamala – Horror Exorcism Escape won Best Indie Game, Real Cricket Swipe was Best Made in India Game, and Disney Speedstorm received Best Multi-Device Game.
