An expressway will also be built from Gorakhpur in Uttar Pradesh to Siliguri in West Bengal. Land acquisition work has started for the Gorakhpur-Siliguri Expressway passing through three states. With the construction of this greenfield expressway being built parallel to the India-Nepal border under the Bharatmala project, the distance between Gorakhpur and Siliguri will be reduced to only 519 kilometers. 22 flights were disported at Delhi airport due to poor weather

The official said that the flights which have been disported carry 9 flights of IndiGo, 8 flights of Air India and 3 flights of Vistara. According to an official, New Delhi At least 22 flights were disported at Delhi airport on Saturday evening due to poor weather. Out of 22, 9 flights were disported to Jaipur, 8 to Lucknow, 2 to Chandigarh and 1 each to Varanasi, Amritsar and Ahmedabad. The official said flights were disported between 1500 hours and 1830 hours. The Indira Gandhi International Airport in the public capital handles around 1,300 flight shifts daily.
