Property prices gain in most cities: NHB report

New Delhi, 45 out of 50 cities recorded a rise in property prices during the first quarter of 2025-26, according to data released by the National Housing Bank (NHB). New Delhi: Crude oil prices rose by Rs 16 to Rs 5,579 per barrel in futures trade on Friday as traders increased their bets following strong spot demand. At the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of crude oil contract for September delivery rose by Rs 16, or 0.29 per cent, to Rs 5,579 per barrel in a business turnover of 13,135 lots. Analysts said crude oil prices rose in futures trade as participants increased their bets. Foreign currency assets, a key component of the foreign exchange reserves, rose by USD 1.924 billion to USD 585.903 billion in the week ended August 15, according to the data.
