New Delhi, Aluminium prices rose by 65 paise to Rs 249.95 per kg in futures trade on Monday as speculators created fresh positions amid positive trend in the spot market.
At the Multi Commodity Exchange, aluminium contracts for August delivery rose by 65 paise, or 0.26 percent, to Rs 249.95 per kg in a business turnover of 1,290 lots.
Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consumer industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
